We came here for my husband's birthday dinner, so glad we did! We had such a great time! We got a reservation same day! The food was amazing! The meats tasted so fresh and lean. We tried the beef belly, boneless short rib, spicy pork bulgogi, and the beef brisket - all so delicious! The combo meats come with your choice of stew - the kimchi stew was good, egg stew - which was more like an omelet, kimchi pancake - this wasn't my favorite, vegetable skewer, and white rice. The cheese fondue is really tasty, especially when you dip your meats in it! Oh and their potato salad, yum! The menu is more of an a la carte, not an AYCE, but it's worth it and your server cooks your food in front of you on the grill at your table. We ordered a pitcher of beer and a couple bottles of Soju, the pineapple and lychee Soju were the best flavors -- not too sweet! The service was excellent! Our server was attentive, friendly, and quick! She cooked our meal perfectly! The vibe was chill but fun, music playing in the background, and the restaurant was spacious. They have a side room that has bigger tables for larger groups, it fit our group perfectly with 2 grills. Our group was over 6 people so they automatically added a 20% gratuity, which was well deserved. Overall, highly recommend this spot in Chinatown. The food is fire, the experience is awesome, and the service is great!
Best place in Vegas for Korean BBQ hands down! Table side cooking from your personal chef! Casual atmosphere. Fresh meats and a great experience! I personally have never had better.
Just had a great bday dinner here. My husband and I got the combo A and out of the three meats in the combo I preferred the soy garlic short rib. It had a nice flavor and it grilled nicely. The combos come with a Jjigae (stew) and we opted for the soybean. I enjoyed the flavor of this stew and it went so well with rice. As we were finishing up the meats my husband was still hungry so we added on a filet mignon. I'm so glad we got the filet because it was the highlight of our meal. Our server did an awesome job grilling it and it had the perfect char. It's been a while since we had a filet this good. We came on a Sunday around 5 and got seated promptly. Service was great and the quality of food is really nice. Vibe is fun and I loved all the kpop they were playing.
clean, airy environment, able to accommodate small and large parties. Since it's an a la carte, the meat is grilled for you. You can def request how you want your meat cooked..medium rare or well done. the banchan was standard. You had to pay extra for the lettuce wrap. We ordered combo A, for the two of us. The meat was cooked in particular order. The quality was good! the combo comes with soup and egg. We ordered the kimchi soup but it was more kimchi paste bc tbe soup was so thick. overall, it was a pleasant experience,
This has been by far my favorite experience with KBBQ I have not been able to stop talking about the quality of the meat to my friends. At first I didn't do enough research to see if it was AYCE. To be honest, once the service started. It didn't matter at all. They have such high quality of meat. I got the 3 beef combo. That I was more thrilled to enjoy the quality over quantity. Great service from our table host. It was different having them cook the meat for you, so you were able to have more of a chance to enjoy the food at the right temperature. All the meat was cooking in sections based on how it was served. Which was really good. The soup and steamed egg were a new addition for me. Both were delicious. I could've taken an order to go. lol By far the most spacious KBBQ I've been too and there was a good distance between each table. This place is big and comfortable. I also really appreciate their ventilation system. I wasn't covered in smoked. I wanted to eat KBBQ not smell like it too. That's the experience I had. Definitely will be back.
This KBBQ spot was a hit! The high-quality meat and top-notch service really stood out, and having them cook for us was a pleasant surprise. The adjustable ventilation kept the smoke away, so no smoky clothes--huge plus! Overall, a fantastic dining experience. We got the combo B for 3 hungry guys and that was good.
Came here for the first time on a dinner date with the hubby, and we had a wonderful time. We love Korean bbq, and we wanted to try a non-ayce place. 8oz was recommended by some friends, and it did not disappoint. If you're a party of 2+, you can order from the combo set meals. You can also order from the a la carte menu too of course no matter the party size. We ordered a small combo A, which included beef brisket, seasoned boneless short rib, soy garlic short rib, and grilled pork bulgolgi. The combo came with veggie skewer, kimchi pancake, egg stew, rice, your choice of jjigae (we chose kimchi), and banchan of course. This combo cost only $90 for the two of us, which is actually a steal compared to other places like Hobak. The meat quality was really good. We really enjoyed all the meats. Even the brisket, a commonly lower quality cut of meat, was delicious. My favorite was the boneless short rib, while my husband's was the soy garlic short rib. None of the meats had that old meaty taste that I hate. The assortment of banchan were really good. We really enjoyed the radish sheets and kimchi. We also liked the vegetable skewer. I kind of wish there was more. It included a few pieces of onion, bell pepper, 1 little tomato, 2 pieces of zucchini, a mushroom. I would've loved more zucchini, which was so juicy and refreshing next to the grilled meats. The egg stew and kimchi jjigae were delicious as well. The service was attentive, friendly, overall very good. The restaurant was clean. The bathrooms were just cleaned and clearly well maintained. Quality of food delicious. We would come back if we weren't in the mood for AYCE. Good quality, good service, good price, overall great experience.
Service was good overall. Food was good overall but marinated galbi was bit chewy. Place was busy but food was served fast.
We came in on Sunday at around 7pm for dinner. Reservations are restricted to parties of 10 or more. This place gets packed quickly. The interior is a bit more sophisticated than the typical K-BBQ restaurants. Tofu Soup | Seoul Tofu restaurant has become my standard for a good soondubu jjigae. This soup was flavorful, but way too salty. Generous amount of tofu though. Soybean Paste Stew | The doenjang jjigae was extremely salty, even when eaten with a side of rice. This was intended as comfort food, but the taste buds disagreed, lol. Kimchi Pancake | Portion was small. Despite of its kimchi-colored red appearance, the kimchi taste was lacking. All that was in it was batter, some random ground meat, and a small amount of kimchi vegetables. Lobster | Yum! The fresh lobster tails were chunky and meaty. It gave a subtle sweet flavor with good buttery finish. Menu: Our table also ordered beef and pork, which I didn't care for, but they enjoyed it very much. The protein quality was outstanding. However, the side orders, like the soups and kimchi pancake, seemed to be an afterthought. The banchan dishes were good though, including the fish cakes and mashed potatoes. Service: Our party was accommodated well. It was a busy weekend dinner, so the server forgot a couple of orders. Parking: Parking lot can be full at dinner times.
If you're an LA transplant and reading this review this might sum up my experience : REMINDED ME OF QUARTERS in KOREATOWN, LOS ANGELES. Onto the review HAHAHA I was invited to a birthday dinner here. I was the first to arrive (like always) for the group and was greeted by a friendly server at the front, he gave me options to wait for the rest of my party or to be seated. We had made reservations so I had no issue with the seating arrangements. I'm unsure if this is a necessity at this place but to be safe, I'd call ahead. The side dishes were simple and delicious, much like the counterpart I've mentioned in Los Angeles, they serve a little dish with sauces and salt for your meat. I'm not sure why I didn't take photos of the meat but overall the quality seemed elite! There were people that cooked the meat for us so we didn't have to do too much cooking on our own. Some KBBQ places are literally All-you-can-eat and do-it-yourself; I don't mind but it's nice if someone better equipped does the cooking for you. Their cold noodles were delightful -- I'm a skeptic when it comes to cold noodles and am very particular but they got the pass HAHA We ordered the combos and I think it's a great shareable item to order because they come with both marinated and non marinated meats satisfy everyone's preferences at the table. I would most likely return with my husband soon!
